The truth is that all of this is coming to an end. Weddings were just accompanied with the jarana but now, no more, just tropical. All of this music is coming to an end. El Jarabe was played while accompanying the bride and groom to the church and afterwards they returned with music until they were seated at the table, but now let me tell you, all of this is becoming history. Like everything, everything among the young people has changed a lot. In the past, the musicians were just given food, and liquor. There was hardly any interest in getting paid. Everything was cheap, the jaranas, pieces of cedar, but now everything is expensive. Everything has gone up, even the strings.
